Swallow was written during a rare visit to Sarah’s childhood beach. It is an earnest tune that digs up the inevitability of death from the depths of our psychological sea.
lyrics
Tombs - they are idle, their rumble is birth.
A hiccup in the nothing dark.
Through circle windows, the days dive below the sea.
They land in mouths with such angular teeth.
The season of the sea
The season of the sea is for
endless swallow
I will swallow...
we will swallow...
but the sea
will swallow it all.
